Our most iconic model, created by hours of observing the sinuous and unique movements of the golden eagle in the Italian mountains, where this bird of prey, simultaneously at odds with the air and in favor of this natural element, can display a truly prodigious wingspan. The queen of the skies has driven our design office to push beyond absolute excellence in this sector, achieving a technical and stylistic perfection that makes this model truly “different.” And so we immediately thought of Rosina Ferrario, the first Italian aviator and the eighth in the world to earn a pilot’s license. A woman who attracted attention when she was in control of an airplane, she performed before the audience at the Aviation Meeting in 1913, causing a shower of red carnations to fall from the sky.

Precision in motion

FLYPER was born from an intuition that responds to the need to fly that is inside each of us: to fly with the imagination, to really fly and to fly through our dreams. We designed these glasses at altitudes above 3000 meters by studying the flight of some birds of prey and then we subjected them to extreme atmospheric pressures by taking them in flight on some fighter planes, until we refined every aerodynamic characteristic in special wind tunnels.
