One of the most fascinating aircraft in the history of aviation inspired the front and temple tips of this very special model, creating a sinuous product with bold shapes that recall the “yellow-beaked” aircraft model from which almost all other recent prototypes were born. We then wanted to link this model to the image and achievements of a great Italian woman of the past, considered a “pioneer” of flight and high altitudes: Carina Massone, a “heroine of the skies” who in 1935 set the world record for high-altitude flight in a propeller-driven aircraft.

FLYPER was born from an intuition that responds to the need to fly that is inside each of us: to fly with the imagination, to really fly and to fly through our dreams. We designed these glasses at altitudes above 3000 meters by studying the flight of some birds of prey and then we subjected them to extreme atmospheric pressures by taking them in flight on some fighter planes, until we refined every aerodynamic characteristic in special wind tunnels.
